.about me

It’s no secret, I’ve always been involved with “image”, I began my career in the world of Stage Crafts as a Lighting Designer (1988), I spent several years learning my craft and perfecting it. In 1994 I met a person who’s influence would change my life, Doriane Dalati, this iconic figure of the hair care industry (Now Vice-President General Manager of Redken Canada) who’s own path would be a spectacular tale to tell, inspired me to explore the artistry of beauty. Through Doriane’s mentoring, I was given several opportunities to better myself both as a Lighting Designer and as a “Director of Production” as she would regularly ask me to “manage” situations that were completely out of my area of expertise. This partnering with Doriane Dalati is an ongoing one and hopefully she shall remain a driving force in my desire for professional improvement for years to come.

In 1999, I began exploring photography, a bit out of boredom with Videography…and I never put the camera down since. With the help and support of some truly die-hard clients, I was able to really grow as a photographer and for this I am eternally grateful.

Without being too melodramatic, I absolutely must thank a few people who’s belief in my potential has served as fuel for bettering myself and my art, so here I go;

Martin Perrault: A spectacular photographer whose published works speak for themselves. Martin has been the most influential photographer in my development. He’s the one I go to for harsh criticism!

Steeve Henry: Steeve is a very experienced Artistic Director…who’s own path has taken him away from the film world and into the “Still Image” world! His brilliant artistic eye has made my job so easy! Steeve and I have a magical understanding when it comes to work…and I am privileged that he favors me as a photographer.

Cindy P: Last but certainly not least…. Cindy P is the single most important reason why I am where I am today. She was my first model and for the longest time my only model! Cindy is, for lack of a better word, my muse. I owe everything to her and a life time of thanks would not even come close to being enough. If you have not guessed it yet…Cindy is also the love of my life.
